NIKO BREDBACKA: Quarterback / Wide Receiver – Team World Lone Wolves

🎤 Interview for the Mediterranean Championship 2025 – Rabat, Morocco

Q: Introduce yourself – name, country, and role on Team World.
A: Niko Bredbacka, from Finland – I’ll be playing as QB and WR for Team World.

Q: How did you first get in touch with AGWA and Team World?
A: I was informed through Team Phoenix Malta in their group chat. That’s how I found out about the opportunity.

Q: What does it mean to you to play in Morocco and represent multiple nations together?
A: It’s a great chance to do something unusual, refreshing, and undoubtedly fun. It’s a unique opportunity for players and coaches to meet new faces and – even with limited time – to learn something new.

Q: What are your expectations for the Mediterranean Championship?
A: Just a year ago, I didn’t even know Malta had a team or that Morocco would host an international game. So, I’m not exactly sure what to expect! But I believe the level of play will be high, with many experienced players coming together.

Q: How would you describe the atmosphere and the team?
A: At this point (early November), my intuition tells me it’s going to be warm, welcoming, and relaxed – but also competitive once the weekend kicks off. The vibes will definitely feel a bit exotic, given the location and the mix of nationalities.

Q: What message would you like to share with fans and American football supporters around the world?
A: As we all know, football is the greatest team sport in the world. There’s a good reason why it keeps growing in popularity across Europe – and this event is proof of that global passion.

Q: (Optional) Can you share a special memory or moment from your football journey?
A: It’s hard to choose just one… but I’d say I was really happy when I decided to start playing again after a three-year break back in 2010. Hopefully, Morocco will become a similar spark for me!
